Legazpi City, Albay
Legazpi City is a 1st class city and capital of Albay province, Bicol Region. Known as the "Gateway to Mayon Volcano" β the world's most perfect volcanic cone. Major tourism and commercial hub of southeastern Luzon.
π How to Get There
Legazpi is the main entry point to Albay and southern Bicol. Commercial flights now use Bicol International Airport (DRP) in nearby Daraga, around 25 to 30 minutes from the city, while the old Legazpi Airport (LGP) site remains inside the city but no longer handles regular commercial service. Land arrivals use the Legazpi Grand Terminal for long-distance buses from Manila and the rest of Bicol, and Tabaco Port provides the nearest practical ferry link to Catanduanes. The city is also anchored on the Pan-Philippine Highway and Andaya Highway road network.
